Responsible for directing a broad range of public library functions for the Township of Lower Merion (Township). Work involves directing and administering library services and activities including collection development, community outreach, supervision of staff, budgetary planning and implementation, and working with a local library board.
Position is primarily focused on managing, coaching, and developing other people. Position requires expertise and knowledge in specialized functions or business areas that can be used to develop efficient and innovative ways to accomplish organization and library goals.
Works under the direction of the Director of Libraries.

Page positions are part-time positions with no benefits. Typical schedules are for evening and weekend hours. Pages must be 14 years or older and work well with the public and computers. Duties include: shelving library materials, checking materials in & out, registering patrons for library cards, collecting fines & fees, assisting with opening & closing the building.
NOTE: There are currently 2 vacancies at Bala Cynwyd and 1 at Gladwyne Library as of 11/21/2025.
